Ozzie Albies' three-run shot in the fourth inning broke a 2-2 tie and propelled the Braves to their first win in four games. The 26-year-old second baseman has now homered in three consecutive contests.

López, making his season debut, struck out seven Angels in 4 2/3 innings before being ejected for his role in the post-pitch altercation. The right-hander's fastball reached 98 mph, but his control wavered in the fifth, prompting a high-and-tight wild pitch that sparked the brawl.

Atlanta's Jorge Soler, who had homered earlier in the game, exchanged punches with López near the mound before the pitcher landed a blow to Soler's batting helmet, drawing the ire of umpires.

The Braves made the most of their pitching duel, with Matt Olson scoring twice and Eli White driving in two runs with a double and sacrifice fly. Austin Riley added an RBI single, while nine Atlanta players recorded at least one hit.

Atlanta reliever Raisel Iglesias worked around a walk in the eighth to earn his second save, while Tyler Kinley notched his first win by striking out both batters he faced in the seventh.
