Caught in the web of a spinning goddess
A sudden spring shower found us huddled beneath the sparse canopy of a beech grove, our mindfulness forest bathing class transformed into a wet and wild scramble for dry shelter.

Rain's rhythmic refrain
As droplets pattered against the unfurled leaves, the forest floor's secret inhabitant emerged – a cucumber spider, its yellowish-green abdomen a striking contrast against the gloom. I offered my finger, and the arachnid climbed on, its cryptic camouflage compromised against the black fleece.
Guiding the spider onto a low branch, it blended seamlessly into the leafy surroundings, its ability to adapt and hide a testament to its cunning survival skills. In this moment, I was struck by the intricate dance between predator and prey, the delicate balance of life in the shadows of the forest.
