Umich celebrates historic 2026 ncaa championship

On Saturday, the University of Michigan men's basketball team will be celebrated for its record-breaking 2026 NCAA championship win. The festivities kick off with a parade through Ann Arbor at 10 a.m., starting at the President's House and ending at Yost Ice Arena.

Parade route details

Fans are encouraged to line South University Drive outside the President's House, proceeding west to the Student Union and south down State Street to Yost Ice Arena. The city will close streets along the parade route at 8 a.m., with parking available in nearby structures.

Indoor celebration

Following the parade, the Champions Circle celebration will begin at 1 p.m. at Crisler Center. Reserved seats for the event are available for $30 in the upper bowl and $75 in the lower bowl, with proceeds benefiting Michigan's student-athletes. Student tickets are priced at $20, granting access to the Maize Rage section within the arena.

Ticket information will be communicated by the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office via email to eligible students, season ticket holders, and donors with 500+ priority points, starting at 9 a.m. Thursday. A general public sale will take place at 5 p.m. on the same day, with tickets available at MGoBlue.com/Tickets. The doors will open to ticketholders at noon on Saturday.
