Florida woman freed after bond in illegal post-surgery recovery scandal
A South Florida woman accused of operating an unlicensed post-surgery recovery home in Miami-Dade County has been released from jail after posting bond.

Authorities uncovered the illegal facility after an anonymous tip and found patients without proper biohazard disposal measures.
Yordanka Ozabala Garcia, 50, was arrested Thursday at a house near Southwest 127th Avenue and 42nd Terrace.
Following an investigation by the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, Garcia, who allegedly ran the unlicensed assisted living and recovery facility, was taken into custody.
Authorities executed a search warrant and found medical waste, including in the kitchen, with no authorized containers or warning labels.
At the time of her arrest, 11 patients were inside the home, according to the sheriff's office.
Garcia was transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in West Miami-Dade and posted a $2,500 bond.
