Crime stoppers offers $1,000 reward for details on fulton market armed robbery

Cook County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in identifying two suspects who brutally robbed and beat a 49-year-old man in the Fulton Market District earlier this year.

Shootout leaves victim bloodied, suspects flee in gray range rover

On February 12th, just before 4:30pm, the victim was accosted in the 200 block of North Peoria Street. Two masked males, one in all black and the other in gray, demanded his belongings at gunpoint.

When the victim refused, one of the assailants pistol-whipped him before both thieves fled the scene in a gray Range Rover. The vehicle's license plate remains unknown.

Exec Dir Paul Rutherford of Cook County Crime Stoppers urges vigilance: 'Always be aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious activity.' The suspects are considered armed and dangerous, so do not attempt to confront them.
