Polymanga festival draws over 50,000 in switzerland

More than 50,000 fans flocked to the 20th edition of Polymanga, the premier pop culture festival in Switzerland, over the Easter weekend. The event, held in Beaulieu near Lausanne, saw a significant increase in attendance compared to the 2025 iteration.

Polymanga 2026 highlights k-pop, cosplay and local talent

The festival's dense and diverse program appealed to all generations, with concerts by K-Pop sensation Gaho and his group Kave, as well as French voices for KPop Demon Hunters and Japanese singer Mika Kobayashi. Cosplay enthusiasts were treated to a host of competitions, with the Polymanga Global Easter Cosplay selling out and being won by French representative Kchaan, followed by Austria's Sabaku and Switzerland's Enelden.

The event's artists' village featured 180 stands showcasing local and international creators, selected from over 600 submissions. Next year, Polymanga will return to Montreux's 2M2C in an expanded format, after being temporarily relocated to Lausanne during the 2M2C renovation.
