Six flags over georgia ramps up spring break with new attractions and extended hours

Spring break crowds are already descending on Six Flags Over Georgia, triggering a flurry of new Entertainment and extended operating hours designed to capitalize on the season’s peak demand.

A wave of entertainment arrives

The amusement park, a perennial hotspot for families across the Southeast, is currently operating daily through Sunday, offering a fresh wave of attractions tailored to the spring break demographic. Two significant additions – the interactive K-Pop show, ‘In Real Life (IRL) K-Pop,’ and the freestyle rap collective, ‘Free Daps’ – are driving considerable buzz.

But the enhancements extend beyond the spectacle. The park is debuting Georgia Sandwich Company, a new dining concept spearheaded by a recent culinary team and executive chef addition. Expect hearty portions and bold flavors, a welcome departure from typical amusement park fare. This represents a substantial investment in elevating the overall guest experience.

To accommodate the increased traffic, Six Flags is extending its daily operating hours until April 12th. Expect a shift in schedules: Friday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM; Saturday, 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM; and Sunday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. A chaperone, aged 21 or older, is mandatory for all attendees under 17 – a standard precaution, but one that underscores the park’s commitment to safety.

“We’ve really focused on creating a dynamic, engaging environment for families this spring break,” stated PR Manager Chris Foshee. “The interactive shows and the new culinary offerings are designed to provide something for everyone.” It's a calculated move to maximize revenue during a notoriously lucrative period.
