Atlanta dream locks down core, adds international firepower for wnba title push

The atlanta Dream are doubling down on their championship aspirations, retaining their core group of players while adding a potent international element to their roster.

Howard, the 2022 WNBA Rookie of the Year, has emerged as a star, becoming the fastest player to reach 300 career 3-pointers. The others have established themselves as key contributors.

Australian guard isobel borlase also joins the roster.

In a separate move, the Dream signed 21-year-old Australian guard Isobel Borlase, a Women's National Basketball League MVP who led the league in scoring with 22.9 points per game last season.

Borlase, originally drafted by atlanta in 2024, returns after a breakout year overseas that included a 42-point game and multiple league honors.

Earlier this month, the Dream acquired two-time All-Star Angel Reese from the Chicago Sky, further bolstering their roster depth.

With the WNBA draft looming, the Dream's front office looks poised to continue shaping a roster built for contention.
