McCollum led the way, shooting an efficient 8-of-12 from the field, including 4-of-7 from three-point range. He was ably supported by Nickeil Alexander-Walker's 21 points and a double-double from Jalen Johnson, who notched 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Onyeka Okongwu chipped in with 15 points, as the Hawks dominated across the board to move within 3.5 games of fourth-place Cleveland in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Nets, meanwhile, suffered their second consecutive defeat, falling to 18-59 on the season. Nic Claxton paced Brooklyn with 16 points, while Malachi Smith added 15 in a losing effort.

Atlanta's dominant start set the tone, as they opened with a 10-0 spurt and led 35-17 after one quarter. The Hawks extended their advantage to 16 points by halftime, with McCollum and Johnson leading the charge.
