Ayo Dosunmu poured in 24 points as the Minnesota Timberwolves snapped a three-game skid with a crucial 124-104 win over the Indiana Pacers.

Timberwolves seize control early, never trail after first quarter

Minnesota took a double-digit lead late in the opening period and never looked back, building a 63-53 halftime advantage. The Wolves then pushed their lead to 73-55 early in the third quarter before a Pacers run cut the deficit to 77-67.

However, Minnesota responded with a blistering 25-5 run to close the third, stretching their lead to 102-77 and effectively sealing the victory.

Dosunmu led the way with 24 points, while Julius Randle and Bones Hyland chipped in 19 apiece. Hyland also dished out seven assists, and Rudy Gobert pulled down 12 rebounds.

The win moves Minnesota to the cusp of securing a top-six seed in the Western Conference and avoiding the play-in tournament. They'll look to clinch that spot on Wednesday against Orlando, pending a Houston victory over Phoenix.
