Will Sherman, the 22-year-old second-row forward for Anthem Rugby Carolina, is making a name for himself in Major League Rugby. The American standout is the son of Wade Sherman, a former player for the Cal Berkeley team that included 9/11 hero Mark Bingham. Growing up in Utah, Sherman was heavily influenced by the Pacific Islander community's rich rugby roots.

After playing for UCLA, Sherman embarked on a life-changing journey to Sydney, Australia, where he joined storied club Randwick. He quickly proved himself, earning a spot in the second-grade team and tallying an impressive 36 tackles in just one game.
